In our growing team of specialists we are looking for an ambitious and motivated Junior Data Analist.

Your role

As Data Analist at LARKinfolab you will work together with your colleagues in Data Science team. You are responsible for creating data insights using BI tools QlikSense and Power BI as well as self-service data analytics software such as Alteryx or from the MS Azure stack.          

As a junior you will be supported by an experienced team of data scientist and data engineers which will support you in training and edcucation as well in coaching you through your assigments. We see our work as a team effort!

Your work

You will work with a wide range of data sources and statet-of-art technology to develop and implement data-driven solutions. For every assignment you are part of an agile and solutions-oriented team. We will ensure that you have sufficient room to investigate and develop new solutions within your area of expertise.

What we are looking for:

Educational Background:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or any related field.
• Some experience in working in BI is a plus

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel and experience with advanced formulas and functions.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like QlikSense, Power BI, or similar.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and experience with statistical software such as R or Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
• Knowledge of database concepts, data modeling and experience with any database management system (DBMS).
• Good feel and understanding for data visualization theory and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to interpret data and analyze results to generate insights.
• Basic understanding of data cleaning, manipulation, and transformation techniques.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data.
• Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Ability to adapt to changing client requirements and deadlines.
• Eager to expand your knowledge and skills.
