One of the largest fruit and vegetables sales organizations needed to get direct insights from their sales and auction data of their divers freshly harvested product portfolio. The main focus involved creating a better connection between inventory and demand and thus reducing waste and optimizing product pricing, both in direct sales as well as for auction clock pricing.
Together with the internal data-engineering & BI team we have implemented Qlik BI dashboards and reporting. Periodic reporting is now based on the same data as shown in the interactive dashboards and is generated in a fully automated process using Qlik NPrinting.
Crucial information about product turnover and pricing is now made available to users at their fingertips. This had a big impact on the efficiency and decisions of the operation which would not have been possible with traditional reporting.
